Course Description

Course Code : HSAF2090

You must assess the risks to employees and self-employed contractors who work at employer work stations and regularly use display screen equipment like computers and lap tops as a significant part of their normal work. Some workers may experience posture problems and pain, discomfort or injuries, e.g. to their hands/arms, from overuse or from poorly designed work stations or work environments. Headaches or sore eyes can also occur, for example if the lighting is poor.

Course Objectives

The course has been developed to provide delegates with suitable and sufficient information to assist them carry out Risk Assessments in accordance with; The Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992
