Exposure to noise at work is recognised as a main cause of industrial injury and can be a debilitating experience for workers. The HSE suggest over 1 million employees in Great Britain are exposed to levels of noise that put their hearing at risk resulting in deafness, ringing in the ear or other ear conditions. It is a legal requirement that those who work with excessive noise are appropriately protected and trained.
The course is designed to enable all personnel exposed to noise at work to understand the implications and take precautions to reduce risk.
